Job Brief

As the primary interface between our client and their customers you must be a deal maker who is consistent in your approach, good on the phone, proactive and motivated to grow with the business.


Responsibilities

• Operate as the focal point of contact between the market and assigned customers, developing a stable working relationship.
• Retain and protect the company’s business with assigned customers and maximise the account’s profitability and revenues.
• Generate new sales from new and assigned accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
• Act as an effective escalation path for customer and company and be prepared to communicate at all levels of the organisations.

 


Duties

• Conduct regular health checks on existing accounts considering critical factors such as: performance, pricing, profitability & roadmap, and report these back to management.
• Develop profiles of customers’ product, market, roadmap and added value.
• Review RFQs for new products, align with the company’s capability and business objectives.
• Prepare costings and quotations. Land and oversee customer orders until complete.
• Understand customer’s forecast and the company’s ability to respond.
• Maintain and develop company’s internal sales systems and methods such as price lists, quotations, invoices, etc, as necessary.
• Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines.
• Work within the company’s framework for pricing, negotiating and approval limits.


Requirements

A deal maker
Hungry to be on the phone making contact
Previous sales or customer service experience in a high-tech business.

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
