Enigma People Solutions is keen to speak with senior product engineers for a number of roles across the central belt of Scotland here is one such role

Product Manager – Edinburgh

Oversee every element of the design, launch and delivery of products, ensuring they deliver value and to both customers and the business.

  • Manage the whole product lifecycle and develop cross functional partnerships
  • Track all product metrics and make informed product decisions throughout the product lifecycle
  • Analyse and implement development processes and procedures
  • Lead, supervise and mentor line managers, ensuring key roles are being performed efficiently and are aligned with the organisation’s vision and strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams
  • Communicate strategy to executive stakeholders and adjust priorities according to feedback
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success products and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate across teams to communicate product strategies with internal stakeholders and adjust priorities according to feedback

To be of interest you will be:

  • Qualified to at least degree level in a related subject (Physics, Optoelectronics, Lasers etc) with demonstrable commercial experience in semiconductor, laser or optoelectronics new product introduction, test & manufacturing or development.
  • Competent using Microsoft Software including Excel (preferably with VB programming), PowerPoint and Word for windows.
  • SAS jmp analysis software experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Solid, methodical problem-solving skills with a working knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA risk prevention technique.
  • Failure Analysis and statistical analysis.
     
  • Experience leading technical product plans and aligning business strategy and technology delivery
  • Experienced in working in innovative start-up environments
  • Driven to create product excellence, and create exponential success as part of a high performing team
  • Able to successfully plan and manage multiple tasks and complete work to deadlines
  • Abie to effectively develop, lead, mentor and motivate high performing teams across a variety of functional roles
  • An excellent communicator – Able to build and maintain good relationships with project partners, stakeholders and across interdisciplinary teams
